We are so fortunate to live in an age where there are so many choices for health care. Many people have made the move from conventional to alternative medicine, and once through the proverbial door, have never looked back. The health benefits from alternative medicine therapies and meditations are abundant and popular, too, with an estimated 1 in 3 cases choosing alternative medicine.
Why is this? Why do people seem to be abandoning the allopathic medical doctors of the world and flocking to the care of alternative practitioners? Why has the health insurance industry noted this and started to tentatively cover some, but not all, alternative medicine therapies – even meditation in rare cases?

Alternate medicine and radiotherapy are a combination that is growing in popularity. Radiotherapy treatment is normally used in cancer patients, with the most common type known as external beam therapy.
This name evolved because the treatment consists of a beam of radiation that comes from a very sophisticated machine. The beam is focused on the part of the body that contains the tumor, and the largest amount of radiation possible is used to kill the cancer cells.

Acid reflux disease affects more than 15 million people just in the United States alone. Anyone who took a stroll down a pharmacy aisle where antacids are displayed would probably guess that twice that number was burdened with this uncomfortable and persistent malady.
The sheer number of different remedies for heartburn and acid indigestion is amazing. People are popping these over the counter drugs down like candy in an effort to relive themselves of uncomfortable symptoms, totally unaware that acid reflux responds more quickly to alternative medicine remedies. If one OTC drug doesn’t help, they try another, and then another… anything for relief!
