The word Rolfing is a nickname that stuck to the field of work founded by Dr. Ida P. The Rolfing Institute is now registered in 27 countries around the world. Rolfing فان المعهد هو مسجل الآن في 27 بلدا في جميع انحاء العالم.

The Rolfing Institute was founded in 1971; however Dr. Rolf had been working in her field and teaching others, while traveling from place to place around North America from the 1930s on to the 1950s.
